Back to School Stationery Haul

Hey Guys!

Only a week till back to school (Ahhh). Where have the summer holidays gone? Sorry I haven't posted for two weeks, but I have been away. I think the one thing that gets me in the mood for back to school is stationery shopping! I just love the thought of going out and buying new things for a new year ahead. So I thought I'd share with you the things I bought for this years stationery haul...

Seeing as I still had some money on a Lakeside voucher I got, I decided to get a pencil case that would match my school bag. I love the colours and patterns on this pencil case, and it's not too bright.

Last year at school, I had handwriting pens and I just got fed up with them as they always got blunt or ran out too quick, so I opted for biros this time. I also got some pencils that had little rubbers on the end - always useful!

When have you always made a mistake and been really annoyed? Or always been told off for not having straight lines in your book? These three items always need to be in my pencil case, as they always come in handy.

I. Love. Highlighting. I feel highlighters just add lots of colour to your work and always make things look organised! And who doesn't like that?

There's always one lesson that the teacher will ask you to do a poster, and pens always make things look brighter and bolder.

These pencils are amazing for block colouring and again for posters. I always like having a set in my pencil case as they don't go through the page in a school exercise book.

Post it notes! Always useful for revision or organisation, and always come in handy some time.

DIY Personalised Envelopes

Hey Guys!

So today I thought I would do a DIY that was both cheap and personalised, using things you can find lying round the house. You will need paper, scissors, Sellotape and pens/pencils. I decided to make a personalised envelope, which was something you could use as a gift or just to put a card in to send to someone. It just makes it a bit more interesting. So here is a tutorial on how to make a DIY personalised envelope...

Step 1 - Start off with a square piece of paper. It can be any colour you want. If you only have A4 paper, take one corner and fold it to the opposite edge. Then cut off the excess paper from the formed triangle. Then unfold the triangle you made.

Step 2 - Fold one corner of the paper to the opposite corner...

Step 3 - ... Then do it the opposite way. After folding both ways,
unfold the piece of paper.

Step 4 - Fold from the left and right corners in so that they meet at the middle point of the folded lines.

Step 5 - Then fold the bottom corner up so that the point is in line with the other two points and is in the middle.

Step 6 - Fold the excess corner underneath to form a straight line. Make sure to stick and parts down with Sellotape so that it doesn't fall apart when putting something in it!

Step 7 - Fold the last corner down to create an upside down triangle, and your envelope is complete, however it needs decoration.

You can add anything on your envelope, but I decided as it was summer it needed some summery touch. You can make yours for a birthday and maybe add some balloons, or you could even add a snowman for winter. The choice is yours.

I added flowers onto mine, to add a summery vibe, and to give you some creative inspiration...

Hello and Welcome!

Welcome to my blog - Imagine Creativeness...

Coming up with a name for this blog took forever and was really hard, as I wanted something that showed who I was. Something I was good at or enjoyed doing. Something I could relate to. The word creativity came to mind, but I needed something that would back it up, make it sound more interesting, to catch more attention. After all the trying, suggesting and denying, I had an idea...

I wanted my blog to be something where I could talk to people, where people could be inspired. I wanted people to imagine creativeness on my blog, to imagine what new things could do. And so my blog name was chosen, that would be the one.

Enough about my blog! Let me introduce myself! My name is Emily and I love all things creative, all things enjoyable! I've always loved arts and crafts and would even do parties that included them. Although I still like colouring and doodling and lots more creative things, I also love performing. At school, I enjoy drama, art, music and DT, all things fun!

Outside of school, I enjoy shopping, make-up, dancing, singing, acting, photography, baking, clothing and lots of other girly things! Therefore, my blogposts will consist of DIYs, Fashion, Beauty, Favourites, Photos and lots more, all of which will help you to imagine creativeness and be inspired by creativeness...
