DIY Personalised Envelopes

Hey Guys!

So today I thought I would do a DIY that was both cheap and personalised, using things you can find lying round the house. You will need paper, scissors, Sellotape and pens/pencils. I decided to make a personalised envelope, which was something you could use as a gift or just to put a card in to send to someone. It just makes it a bit more interesting. So here is a tutorial on how to make a DIY personalised envelope...

Step 1 - Start off with a square piece of paper. It can be any colour you want. If you only have A4 paper, take one corner and fold it to the opposite edge. Then cut off the excess paper from the formed triangle. Then unfold the triangle you made.

Step 2 - Fold one corner of the paper to the opposite corner...

Step 3 - ... Then do it the opposite way. After folding both ways,
unfold the piece of paper.

Step 4 - Fold from the left and right corners in so that they meet at the middle point of the folded lines.

Step 5 - Then fold the bottom corner up so that the point is in line with the other two points and is in the middle.

Step 6 - Fold the excess corner underneath to form a straight line. Make sure to stick and parts down with Sellotape so that it doesn't fall apart when putting something in it!

Step 7 - Fold the last corner down to create an upside down triangle, and your envelope is complete, however it needs decoration.

You can add anything on your envelope, but I decided as it was summer it needed some summery touch. You can make yours for a birthday and maybe add some balloons, or you could even add a snowman for winter. The choice is yours.

I added flowers onto mine, to add a summery vibe, and to give you some creative inspiration...
