Lakeside Haul

Hey Guys!

Sorry that I haven't posted for two weeks, it's that I have been so busy with going back to school and have not had much time to make a post. So at the end of the last school year, I traded in my achievement points and got a £50 lakeside voucher! Worth being good or useful at school eh?! I thought I would share with you what I bought during the summer holidays...

Firstly I went to New Look, which just to let you know, is my favourite shop. However, to be honest, I was quite disappointed. I hardly fouond anything in the sale or in the teenage section that I liked. But, in the accessories section, I did find two pretty flower crowns in the sale that I could save for next year in the summer. One was blue with little flowers, and one had big pink flowers, both which I think look really pretty!

I then went into boots, just for the few odd bits you always need! I bought some tissues. No ordinary tissues though. Oh no, I went for the pretty floral box, because which girl doesn't? I also bought a new pencil eyeliner. I have a felt liner, but I just can't seem to get each eye the same, one is bigger, or one is wonky! So I thought I might try a pencil to see if it makes a difference?! Lastly, I bought a Barry M White Nail Polish as my old one was all gloopy. Oops! 

I then went into Primark, and had a very long browse. I ended coming out with spending quite a bit of my voucher! Firstly I went to the clothes section, but didn't find too much. However I did find a cardigan to replace my old one that got too small. I then went to the pyjama section. Some new lounge trousers in the bag. I was a bit sad that. I couldn't find the matching top in the set, but I later found that in Romford. Lastly, I went to the accessories section...again! I bought another flower crown that goes around your forehead instead of on the top of your head, but I still wear it as another flower crown. I then bought hair bands and kirby grips because I'm always running out of these. And that was my shop in Primark.

I went in to Superdry to purchase my Floral pencil case that was in my Back to school stationery haul.

I went in to WHSmiths and bought a post it note book for my pencil case which is also featured in my back to school stationery haul. I then with the rest of my voucher bought Sprinkle of Glitter's 2016 Diary, and since it was buy one get one half price, I also bought 'All of the Bright Places' book, which I still have to read.

Lastly I went to Superdrug and I bought three face masks, one cucumber and two berries. I've used one and so far so good. I then bought a new MUA concealer in the shade Almond to replace my old one and lastly a new MUA eye shadow in a pretty gold colour which I can't actually remember the name of!

Hope you enjoyed seeing what I spent my voucher on and maybe you might hear abut something you want. I hope to be posting weekly and getting on top of my posts and maybe start doing some autumn baking or DIYs to add an autumnal feeling to my blog, because who doesn't love autumn!?

Oreo Milkshake

Hey Guys!

Recently, we have got an active blender in our house and I was thinking what I could make with it. I have done smoothies and if you want a recipe for that comment down below. However I wanted something different, and I thought about doing an Oreo milkshake as I have had one before and I really like them! So here is a recipe for one person, however feel free to change it depending on how many you're making...


For this milkshake you will need:

- A blender,
- 4 Oreos,
- 2 scoops of ice cream,
- 1-2 small cups of milk.





Step 1 - Place all the ingredients inside a blender, or your cup if you have an active blend. it can vary depending on how many you are making for or whether you are using something different.






Step 2 - Start blending your mixture. Half way through, take it off the blender and give it a bit of a shake so that all the lumps aren't
stuck to the bottom.






Step 3 - Place it back on the blender and keep on blending until it is mixed to the consistency you want it to be. If you need to add more of anything, add that and blend again.





Step 4 - Take off the blender, either place in a cup or just screw on a lid. Then...enjoy!

August Favourites

Hey Guys!

So I thought as it was coming to the end of the month and we're starting September, I would do a monthly favourites for August. Also, can you believe I've been writing this blog for nearly a month!

MAKEUP 

 Primark's Ultra Volumising Black Mascara

I know it might sound bad that I am buying makeup from Primark, but this mascara actually does what it says. It really makes your eyelashes volumising and bold.

MUA Cover and Conceal - Almond

Recently, I have been loving this concealer as it really covers up what it needs to. This colour also really suits my skin and blends in really well.

Baby Lips - Peach Kiss

Lastly, this lipstick is such a nice one just to keep in your bag. It gives off such a nice tinted neutral colour that justs add a bit of a shine to your lips. It also moisturises and keeps your lips hydrated when they are dry.

BOOK

Life with a Sprinkle Of Glitter

I have really enjoyed reading Lousie's book as it has some really good information to take in. It's really interesting and I would really recommend it if you are wanting information on boys or crafts or things like that. 

MOVIE/TV PROGRAMMES

In her Shoes

I really love this film and watched it for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I thought it was a very good film and really recommend it. 

Pound Shop Wars

I know this sounds really weird but it is such a good TV programme that is so funny. It's on channel one and is about all the different pound shops. It's so interesting to see how they work them and how they all battle each other.

X Factor

Woo X Factor has started and as you can probably tell I really enjoy this. I love watching loads of people sing and seeing if they actually get through or not. The anticipation of thinking are they good or not is just so fun! Some people actually think they can sing but they can't!

COLOUR

Mint Green

I know this is a weird thing to put in your favourites but this summer I have been obsessed with the colour mint green! I have bought tops, painted my nail this colour and have always been picking out things this colour.

SHOP

Primark

I have actually been loving the sales and have got some really good things in Primark recently as well as some odd bits and pieces. 

FOOD

Coconut Chips

I bought some of these and they have been so yummy. They also fill you up and are fairly good for you.

Reese's

This chocolate is so nice and I love that you can put peanut butter with chocolate. I know it probably isn't very good for you but it's so good.

SONG 

Black Magic by Little Mix
I love this song and it's such an interesting song to listen to. I love little mix altogether so yeah. I have also heard a bit of their new song Hair and it sounds really good.

YOUTUBER

Zoella
I love Zoella so much and always will. She is such an inspiration and does some amazing videos.
I love her favourites videos and her hauls, but also her funny videos she does with her friends or Alfie.
