What's In My Bag?

Hey Guys!

Today I thought that it might be interesting to do a What's In My Bag. Whenever someone does a video or a post on this, I am instantly pulled in as I am always intrigued to see what they have in their bag. Please don't ask why though! Let me know if you like these sort of posts and if you want others like What's On My Phone in the comments below. Here is what is in my bag...

First of all my bag is from Primark and is a little handle or on the shoulder bag. It was only £10 which I thought was reasonable and is a fairly standard size that I was looking for. It is a tan/brown sort of colour with grey and gold attachments. I use it everywhere I go and it has been a great purchase.

Firstly in my bag is my purse. Again it is from Primark and it matches my bag pretty much exactly at only £6. It is the tan/brown colour, but this time with white. It is quite big, however it has lots of pouches and pockets to put your money and cards in safely.

Next is all my little bits and bobs. I keep a spray because who doesn't want to smell nice? Hand Cream and Hand Sanitiser incase my hands get dirty or dry, Lip balm, Tissues, Plasters (because you never know what might happen!), Tablets, Hairbands and a few pins. To be honest I probably don't need all these things however I feel that they are all quite essential!

I also keep a little notebook and pen inside just incase there is something I need to jot down or something I need to remember. It hasn't actually come in useful yet, however I keep it in there because you never know...

Lastly I keep some form of mints in my bag, such as gum or mentos. Sometimes after I've eaten I feel I need to freshen up, or sometimes, I just fancy a mint!

This is everything that is in my bag!

Easter Cake Pops

Hey Guys!

Today I am going to be sharing with you what I made for my friends this Easter. I didn't want to be spending lots of money on Easter Eggs, so here is what I decided to make instead. Although it is a long process, they are definately worth making as not only are they yummy, they also look personal too. Mine didn't necessarily turn out as Easter themed as I hoped, however this is how you cake make Easter Cake Pops...

For these Cake Pops you will need:
  • A cake pop machine,
  • 100g Flour,
  • 100g Caster Sugar,
  • 60ml Milk,
  • 1 egg,
  • 50g Butter,
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder,
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract,
  • Pinch of Salt.

1) Making the Mixture

Cream together the butter and sugar until soft. Add the egg and mix. Then sift the flour, along with the baking powder and salt into the mixture and stir. After, add the milk and vanilla extract until all combined and it looks like a mixture.

2) Making the Cake Pops

Spray each hole with oil so that the mixture won't stick. Place roughly a teaspoon of the mixture into each hole and be careful not to overfill. Wait about five minutes until brown on the underside, then flip them over and cook for about three minutes. Then take them out and leave them to cool.

3) Decorating the Cake Pops

Coat the cake pops in a layer of white chocolate and leave them in the fridge to harden. Then gather together as many sprinkles and bits and bobs you can find to make you cake pops as fun and Eastery as possible. I also added some milk chocolate as well to add another layer to them. Make them as creative as you want.

I managed to make more than 24 Cake Pops with this recipe, however I only decorated 24. Here are my completed designs.

Hope that you have a great Easter. Let me know if you tried these out.

The A-Z of Living Life

Hey Guys!

So today I thought I would do something a bit different. I have never tried an A-Z before, and as I was looking for ideas, this came up. I thought it would be something fun and a bit of a different idea to what we have done before. Let me know if you enjoy this sort of thing and if there are other topics I can do this on. Here is my A-Z list of living life...

Aim High! - If you aim high, you can achieve some great things in your life that you can be proud of.

Be yourself - Everyone likes you for who you are, don't change you or your personality.

Carry on with things that make you happy - Happy things make you happy, which makes everybody else happy to!

Don't worry about the little things - These can stress you out, but don't worry about them and leave them in  the past.

Explore - Your life is yours to explore, do what you want with it.

Friendship is key - Having lots of friends can make the environment around you stronger and more enjoyable.

Give help - If others are in need of help, don't be afraid to help them or to lend a hand.

Have fun! - This is the top and probably one of the most important. If you aren't having fun, then your life will be a bit boring to be honest, and you won't see the fun side in anything.

Imagination - Imagine what your life might be like in a few years time, and aim for that.

Joke Around - A few jokes aren't going to hurt you, let yourself lose and have a joke around with your friends.

Keep Calm - Try to stay calm through the tough things. It makes life a whole lot easier.

Laugh - Laughing is always better than crying. Why not give it a go!

Manage your time - It can be hard to fit everything in, but time is essential to manage.

Never say Never - It's so easy to say No, but sometimes saying yes is the best option.

Observe - Looking at things around you can make you seem more wide-eyed and observative.

Positive before Negative - Positive thoughts can make a positive environment, affecting you and those around you in a good, positive way.

Questions - Always asking questions means you are an inquisitive person and want to find out more. Don't be sacred to ask questions, they are a good thing.

Rest - Although you might not seem tired, rest is always a good thing as it helps you to calm down and feel refreshed.

Stay Healthy - Whether this is eating or exercise or something else, being healthy can make you feel happier or better.

Take Opportunities - New things are sometimes hard, however opportunities aren't always there. They are there for you to take.

Understand everything - If you are unsure about something, make sure you ask so that you know what is going on in your life.

Vary things - Have a go at new things and have a change for a while. See if you like it or not?

W
rite - Take notes of anything that is getting to you or memories. Put them in a jar and come back to them later in the year to see if something has changed.

Xpress yourself - I know it's meant to be express, but this is a hard one to come up with. Express yourself no matter what you feel like. Do it in a way you enjoy and a way that makes you you.

Your life is worth it - Now life can be hard sometime, but you are worth every part, as is your life.

Zoom - Zoom into parts that you are unsure about and take a deeper look at them.

Let me know if you like this sort of post and if you would like me to do more like these.

DIY Sweetie Jars and Gift Tags

Hey Guys!

So today it's a DIY! I thought that I would do different ideas for putting sweets in a jar as a little gift for someone special or a birthday. There are many different ways you can do it, however I went for three simple ideas along with a personalised gift tag for an extra special touch.

For this DIY you will need:
  • Three different sized jars,
  • Plain Gift Tags,
  • Pens,
  • Sweets!

1) Malteasers in a mini jar
Fill you small jar with one type of loose sweet such as Malteasers or Skittles. This is a cute little present for someone special or a little gift in general to add a personal touch.

2) Small sweets in a jar
This is a medium sized jar so bars won't fit in here. However sweets like lollipops, Starbursts and Moams are a great size to fit in this type of jar. Maybe make it personal by adding tissue paper to the bottom.

3) Large sweets in a jar
This is a large jar, so for anyone who likes sweets - this is a great present! Fill the jar with as many sweets as you can fit in, including packets of sweets such as Fruit Pastilles or Chocolate Bars. Anything! The choice is up to you...

4) Personalised Gift Tag
Take some plain coloured gift tags and use different coloured pens to add a cute message. This will personalise the gift even more and make it seem more loved.

That was all my three designs. Hope you liked them! Let me know if you try any of them out!

February Favourites

Hey Guys!

I realise that I actually haven't done a favourites for quite a while - maybe I should do one each month? So I thought that as it is the start of March, I would let you know what my favourites have been in the past month. It happens that I actually have quite a few favourites, so sorry for that, but here they are...

MAKEUP

Primark's Ultra Volumising Black Mascara
As always I am still loving this mascara for the effect and volume it gives to your lashes, however after I finish this one, I have decided that I am going to try a different mascara that I haven't tried before, so if there are any recommendations, leave a comment and let me know.

PS Love Lipstick
To be honest, I am not a huge makeup person, and before I try big brands, I wanted to buy a darker shade lipstick to see whether it suited me. I have loved this colour through the winter months and it is a definite lipstick that I will wear for a long time.

SCENT

Zoella - Let's Spritz
I had wanted this perfume for quite a while and I finally got it for Christmas. It has such a lovely smell to it, I don't know whether it is floral or not, but it is quite strong and a lasting smell. It is a lovely fragranced body mist and I would really recommend it.

Superdrug Devotion
This is a new range that Superdrug have bought out and I picked out two random bottles, seeing as I had never tried them. I went for Devotion and Tease, however I think that Devotion is my favourite. It has a scent of Sweet Mandarin and Wild Plum, and is a very strong, bold smell.

MOMENT

Bedroom
Recently it has been allowed that I can have my room redecorated as I have had the same bedroom pretty much all my life. So these past weeks have been exciting but difficult trying to find duvets and curtains and pillows that all match and are the colour I want. However we have got all of these things and it is not time for finding paint!

SONG

Seven Years by Lukas Graham
Recently I have really been liking this song. I find the story behind it is very emotional and has a lot of meaning. Some people find it annoying, but I actually quite like it.

TV PROGRAMME

The Great Interior Design Challenge
I have been loving this programme and have watched it before. I love watching people design houses and rooms, it just makes me feel really creative! It's so interesting.

YOUTUBER

SacconeJolys
They have definately been my favourite youtubers for a little while now. I have been so behind on YouTube, and I just like watching the SacconeJolys as they are so cute and can definitely make you laugh.

SHOP

New Look
I still love New Look and I always will! They do some really nice sales in there as well as some really lovely clothes. Recently I bought a pair of shoes in there for a wedding and they were really nice and a really reasonable price too.

Forever 21
I have really been liking Forever 21 for all the clothes they do and all the accessories. I recently bought a dress from there that was very pretty and again, was a reasonable price. They do some really nice clothes for all occasions.

That's all for last month! There were obviously quite a few! Anyway, hope there was something in there you like too.
