My Youtube Book Collection

Hey Guys!

I wasn't quite sure what to write about today until I saw a shelf in my new bedroom (which yes is finally finished now!) On my new desk I have a shelving unit, and on one of the shelves I just have three candles in the colours of my room and all my Youtuber books. Most of them I have read however some I haven't, and I am excited to get more when they come out. So here is my collection of books and what I think about them.

In my collection at the moment I have:

- Life With a Sprinkle Of Glitter by Louise Pentland
- Girl Online by Zoe Sugg
- Love Tanya by Tanya Burr
- The Pointless Book by Alfie Deyes
- Girl Online On Tour by Zoe Sugg
- Username: Evie by Joe Sugg
- I also have Wreck this Journal on this shelf however I don't classify that as a Youtuber book!

Life With a Sprinkle of Glitter
I really enjoyed this book as it wasn't one that had a full length story like others. It is made up of different chapters that each have different sections inside of them. It is interesting to read some small stories about her, but to learn different information about different subjects. It is definately a great read and worth buying.

Girl Online
This book has more of a story to it and is about a girl called Penny who blogs. It is a very interesting read and as well as being a story, it has different parts of Penny's blog that you read throughout.

Love Tanya
This again, like Louise's book is not a story kind of book. It has parts about her life and growing up, but it also has chapters that you can get involved in such as baking and beauty. She has a recipe book that comes out in a few days that I pre-ordered a signed edition of which I am really excited to look at!

Wreck This Journal
To be honest I haven't actually done much in this book, however I do intend to try and do everything inside it, so I better start doing that!

The Pointless Book
Again, I haven't done much in this one either, but I was given it by my friend as she had two. I want to try and complete it all, but I just never really have time or know what to write!

Girl Online On Tour
This is the second book in the series and it carries on from the first. It is another interesting read and goes deeper into the life of Penny as she goes on tour with Noah.

Username: Evie
This book I actually only picked up yesterday so I haven't been able to read it. It looks interesting and isn't a normal type of book. It is more of an animated comic strip however there is a story with it, so I am excited to read that.

These are all the Youtuber books I have, however I hope to add to my collection. Let me know what you think about some of these books.

A trip to Cologne

Hey Guys!

Sorry that I didn't post last week - I was in Cologne on a German exchange trip with the school. In April, I had a student come to stay with me, and so we went there last week for 7 days. I had never been to Germany before, so it was really exciting to go to a new country. It was definately an interesting experience and one hopefully I will never forget!

So we travelled on a Thursday for a whole day on lots of different trains. We had lots of fun on the journey, listening to music, 'practising' German, talking and taking lots of pictures. It felt quite different to be going out of the country with my friends and not my family, however it was definitely a different experience.

On the first day we visited the Dom Cathedral, which is one of the main sites to see in Cologne. We climbed 533 stairs to get all the way to the top, and it was certainly a long way up. In the end we made it and the view was amazing. You could see a panorama across the city and it felt like you were really high up.

We were given an activity where we wondered round in groups and had to answer lots of questions. We had to walk across the Hohenzollern Bridge as part of it. To see all the padlocks on the bridge was such a pretty sight and so colourful.

We also came across a place called Fishmarkt, which had a little row of colourful houses. They were very picturesque and stood out quite a bit around the restaurants and greenery.

At the weekend, we went to the Chocolate Factory, and oh how it smelt so good! We were given some chocolate to test, whilst watching some being made too! It was a really good place to go.

We also went to a theme park called Phantasialand and it was amazing! The rides were so good, and since lots of them were at school, we didn't have to queue up for long either. I went on some bigger rides than I usually would and had a lot of fun.

We also went and did lots of other things. I really enjoyed my time there and hope to go back. Hope you enjoyed this post? Have a good week.

What I Eat For Breakfast!

Hey Guys!

So I am not a massive breakfast fan, and so have been trying to find something that I actually enjoy eating for breakfast. I find cereal OK, however I find it so boring and un-interesting. I don't know whether this is healthy or not, however it is healthier than cereal or some peanut butter on toast! Recently, I have been having strawberries, yoghurt and granola.

I start off by chopping up strawberries. I usually go for about 5-6 strawberries, however it depends whether I am hungry or how many there are left.

I will then take a spoon that is slightly smaller than a tablespoon and will place about three to four heaped spoons onto my strawberries. Depending on how many strawberries I have, that also depends how much yoghurt I put in. I use a fat free strawberry yoghurt which is really nice.

After I will top my strawberries and yoghurt with some dried berry granola. It has honey clusters with dried strawberries, blueberries and raspberries which give this breakfast a nice textured crunch.

I finish off my breakfast with a glass of water, which I try to drink all of. I am trying to drink more water as the weather gets hotter, so instead of another drink, I am now trying to drink water.

I kind of realised that this whole breakfast is berry related, however any yoghurt, fruit and granola will do. Hope you enjoy this type of post. What do you eat for breakfast?

May Favourites

Hey Guys!

I realise that I actually haven't done a favourites for quite a while, even though I said that I was going to try and do one each month! I can't believe that we are now halfway through the year. It seems as though time has gone really fast, so here is everything I have been loving in the month of May.

MAKEUP

Natural Collection Mascara
So as I said I was going to try a different mascara, as I decided that one wasn't doing good for my eyelashes. I picked up the Lash Definition Mascara in the colour black and have been loving it. Although it isn't very bold, it isn't subtle, so I really like this and expect I will be sticking to it.

Natural Collection Juicy Lips
Along with the PS Lipstick that I put in my last favourites, this is a really nice finish to add to your lips. It is a clear lipgloss that once applied gives a shiny, finished look to your lipstick colour. It can be used on its own, however I prefer using it with a colour underneath.

SCENT

Boots Floral Love - Violets and Mandarin
This I think is Boots own brand of spray, however when looking for one to buy, this had a very floral, bold smell to it. I had never tried this range before, and considering sprays are quite expensive now, I wanted to try a cheaper one. These smell really nice and I would definately recommend as the smell stays for quite a while.

Fresh Fruit
I know this isn't the usual scent you would find in a favourites, however it's coming to the season where the more tropical fruits are ripe enough to eat. We have been buying lots of strawberries and mangoes recently and when the are cut into, it just reminds me of holidays with all the lovely fresh fruit you can eat.

MOMENT

Bedroom
I know that my last moment was my bedroom, however we have now got to the stage where it has been cleared out completely, and all that is left is the walls. I am really excited for when it will be finished and I will hopefully do a room tour once it is done.

SONG

Louisa Johnson ft. Clean Bandit - Tears
After Louisa won last Years X-Factor, she must be one of the first ones to bring a single out so quickly. It builds up into a really good song that is catchy and upbeat, and I have enjoyed listening to it on the radio.

TV PROGRAMME

Britain's Got Talent
This month I really enjoyed watching this and all the contestants that audition. I like watching the ones that aren't very good, as well as the ones that definately are. It took me a while to catch up as they put it live on TV in a week, however I thought this years winner was definately one who deserved to win, even though there were others that I really liked.

YOUTUBER

Aspyn Ovard
I really like Aspyn as she does relatable, easy watch videos that aren't that long in length. Her videos are well edited and interesting to watch. As they are quite short, I manage to watch quite a few at a time!

SHOP

New Look
I still love New Look and I always will! I am still loving their clothes and have recently bought some really nice clothes in there, as they aren't too expensive either.

Primark
I really like some of the things Primark are starting to do for summer. I actually went to Lakeside today and I bought some canvas shoes for summer, but in the past few weeks I have bought some tops and bikinis for a good price in preparation for summer.

That's all for last month! Lots of them are summer related, however some are the same and always will be! Let me know what you have been liking in the past month.
